Swedish gaming and cosplay festival NärCon has announced that they will once again postpone the summer edition of the event. The new dates are now 28 to 31 July 2022.
The organisation shared a message through their communication channels talking about another postponement: “We live in challenging times that demand a lot from all of us. Last year was the first time ever that we were unable to hold NärCon Sommar. It was a tough decision, but we were confident that we would be able to meet this year instead. Unfortunately, the development of the pandemic has meant that we will not be able to hold the festival this year either. But! We are heading for brighter times. Step by step, society and the whole world is fighting against Covid-19 and even if it is not as fast as we would like, we are moving forward. That’s why we don’t doubt for a second that we’ll be able to see you at both NärCon Vinter and Sommar 2022!”
All purchased tickets, accommodation, Artist Alley passes, cosplay passes and other products will be valid for next year instead. If you want to get a refund, that is possible by contacting the organisation. It is possible to get your tickets for NärCon Sommar. Furthermore, the organisation shared that NärCon Vinter will be held from 24 to 27 February 2022, the ticket sale for this event will start in the autumn.
