During the Golden Week in Japan, there will be a new edition of the YouTube Music Week. This time it will be a little different as it promotes that we should stay home. Under the name, YouTube MUSIC WEEK “Stay Home and Listen #With Me”, you will be able to enjoy concert footage of 49 artists in collaboration with popular artists in Japan and music labels. The special programme will be held on YouTube for eight days from 29 April to 6 May 2020.
The footage can be viewed on the official YouTube artist channels. For more information on the programme, including timetables and additional artists, it is advised to keep an eye on YouTube Japan’s official Twitter page. The artists who will participate include Miyavi, BABYMETAL, FLOW, Reol, Saucy Dog, THE ORAL CIGARETTES, BAND-MAID, Queen Bee (Ziyoou-vachi), BRADIO, Aimer, m-flo, 04 Limited Sazabys and many more.
Some of the content will be available for viewing on the YouTube Japan channel’s playlist as well as on each artist’s official channel, and some of the videos will only available to view on the time it will be premiered. So it is also a piece of good advice to set a reminder on your favourite artist’s channel if you don’t want to miss it.
