CampZone is celebrating its 20th edition in the Summer of 2020. From 24 July to 3 August, the holiday destination for a lot of game lovers of all ages will take place at this event and this year offers the real CampZone classics full of famous activities such as soap football, Pokémon GO, the Ultimate All-round Gamer competition and, of course, the CampZone Fair. So if you’re interested, come to CampZone with your tent and PC or game console in 2020 and join in the celebrations. The ticket sales of this event started last week.
People of all ages are welcome to come to CampZone every year to play their favourite games and enjoy their ultimate Summer holiday. The LAN activities are central during CampZone, but in addition to the real classics, there is also a lot of news on the programme. There are Tetris and Teamfight Tactics competitions, a Speedrunner gathering and cosplayers can participate in the various competitions, including the Cosplay World Masters preliminary round. Twitch streamers and other content creators will be present throughout the event and will stream from the campsite and technicians can work at HackZone, the event’s hacker space. In addition, Rabobank takes care of various activities and thanks to SNLR and Juniper Networks it is possible to play on an incredibly fast network, both online and offline.
CampZone is an annual outdoor gaming event in the Netherlands and takes place every year in July and August. Visitors bring their own PC or game console and tent to Veghel to enjoy everything that has to do with gaming for eleven days. In addition to game competitions, a varied program is offered daily with activities such as a cosplay competition, campfires, barbecues, bingo and various team sport competitions. CampZone attracts thousands of visitors every year and is taking place for the 19th time this year. CampZone is organised by Duh-Events and made possible by the municipality of Meierijstad and Rabobank.
