After announcing the debut performance at MAG Erfurt 2019, SOMEI YOSHINO (ソメイヨシノ), the new solo project of RYU, ex-singer of Visual Kei band OROCHI, added another show in Europe.

SOMEI YOSHINO has been announced as special guest for the concert evening in Musicon in The Hague with Japanese alternative rock band ZEROSHIKI and Czech modern rock band DEFINE ME. This show will take place on Monday 7 October and is presented by AVO Magazine. For all three bands it will be their first performance on Dutch grounds.

The entry for the show at Musicon will be € 7,50, there is no pre-sale and you will be only able to buy your ticket at the door. The first performance will start at 20.00. Keep yourself up-to-date and set yourself on interested or going in Facebook event.

The European performances are not the first overseas performances for SOMEI YOSHINO. In February of this year, the band performed at a convention in Laos. With the start of the new music project, SOMEI YOSHINO published a music video, titled 祇園-GION-. Later on, the single got a physical release at Comiket.

The former band of RYU, Visual Kei band OROCHI, was active for 15 years and disbanded at the end of January 2019. The band had many line-up changes and after the last changes, it was decided by the vocalist to disband OROCHI and have a ‘restart’ with a new solo project.

In the last seven years, AVO Magazine (mostly known under the denominator AVO and AVO Events) organised several concerts and festivals, mostly in collaboration with tour organisations. After the last festival in 2018, AVO J-Music Festival, AVO Magazine has been supporting several concerts and events, such as MUSIC LABEL NIGHT, Satsuki’s performance at AnimeCon and more. The concerts of ZEROSHIKI, DEFINE ME and SOMEI YOSHINO will be the first official concerts with a ‘stamp’ of AVO Magazine under the denominator AVO Magazine presents.
