HYPER JAPAN’s new event Edo Matsuri, announced for autumn, from 29 November until 1 December at Olympia London, has been cancelled.
The organisation came with this announcement earlier today on their social media and official website with the message that the event got cancelled due to a series of unforeseen circumstances and problems with some of the major components of the event.
It was planned that Edo Matsuri would be focused on traditional culture, food and performance from Japan packed in a matsuri to introduce it to a new audience. The organisation expressed their apologies, but hope there is understanding that this decision has not been made lightly.
HYPER JAPAN will be back in 2020 with the regular event and said in their announcement that they will work to make this their best HYPER JAPAN Festival.
