This is not a sponsored review and because of this I won’t mention where I bought this set, if you do an online search using the name of this kit you’ll be able to find this one in several webshops.

Heart – Chocolate Dinosaurs – Simple
Price:
 ± €2
Extra supplies: Scissors, Spoon, Refrigerator, Microwave*, Heatproof Bowl or Cup
* Instead of melting the chocolate in the microwave you could heat it au bain-marie, with a heatproof glass bowl on top of a pan with a small layer of boiling water. Stir gently until all of the chocolate has melted.

This chocolate kit lets you create some awesome dinosaur chocolates. I was lucky enough to get all three versions of the mould, since the version you get isn’t indicated on the outside of the packaging unfortunately. The three dinosaurs you can get are a Triceratops, a Tyrannosaurus and a Stegosaurus. Aside from the three moulds you get at random there are six backgrounds you get at random.

Flavour: ♥♥♥
Still a fan of Heart chocolate, the milk chocolate is creamy and keeps its shine even after melting and setting again. If you like (Japanese) milk chocolate then this kit won’t disappoint.

Time needed: ⧗
All you need to do is melt and distribute the chocolate, then wait while it sets and put the dinosaur together. It takes up very little time.

Difficulty level: ★
There are very few steps to this kit. The steps you have to take are simple and quick. Just pay attention not to overfill the mould.

Similarity: ???
The end result is very similar to the picture on the packaging. The chocolates have a lot of detail to them, you might miss some little bits, like I did with the Tyrannosaurus’ teeth. Just make sure to tap the moulds before placing them in the refrigerator to prevent airpockets.

TIP: You can use a spoon to fill the mould, but if you’re afraid that’ll get messy you could use a piping bag or sandwich bag instead.

Want to enjoy this kit again?

Clean the mould with warm water, after using it, and let it air dry. Don’t use soap to clean the mould.

If you want to reuse the mould you could use any kind of chocolate or candy melts you’d like to use.
