Five-piece indie pop band Yahyel will come to London for a show at The Waiting Room. The show is totally free and a good way to get introduced to the band. The band will perform with a few special guests.
Entry is based on a first come first served basis. But you can get your free ticket online at Ticket Web. The doors will open at 8 PM.
Yahyel was formed in 2015 by Ikegai, Shinoda and Sugimoto. The band released their first EP later that year. In 2016 the band travelled to the United Kingdom for a mini-concert at Rough Trade. The band got a few more additions in the band line-up with Yamada and Ooi. The band just finished up a tour through China, with shows in Beijing, Shanghai and Xi’an. Yahyel also performed at SXSW this year. The band calls themselves a cyberpunk band, living like the gang in Akira: Combining fragile lyrics with dark soundscapes, Yahyel paint potent portraits of life, peppered with both dystopian imagery and blistering honesty.
After the concert in London, the band will go to France for a show with The fin.
