Ichiko Aoba qp European tour 2019

To promote her latest release, the album titled qp, the young musician Ichiko Aoba will tour Europe. The tour starts today, on the 21st of May in Iceland. The album got released in 2018.

The tour dates are as follows:

Tuesday 21 May: Mengi – Reykjavik, Iceland
Wednesday 22 May: 12 Tonar – Reykjavik, Iceland
Friday 24 May: Sankt Augustins Kirke – Copenhagen, Denmark
Tuesday 28 May: Babel Art House – London, United Kingdom
Thursday 30 May: Le Café Quartier – Paris, France

Ichiko Aoba started playing classical guitar at the age of 17 and debuted her first album, two years later. Until now, she has released 6 albums. Furthermore, she took part in a studio session CD, titled Radio, which was a collaboration with Haruomi Hosono, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Shogo Oyamada and U-zhaan, and she collaborated with Sweet William on a single, as well releasing under the name NUUAMM, which was a unit with Mahitothepeople. In 2018, Ichiko Aoba held her third Asian tour through Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Later that year, she performed at 23 location throughout Japan as part of the qp tour. In the short anime Blade Runner Blackout 2022, she was in charge of the voice of the heroine Trixie. Furthermore, Ichiko Aoba has been active to make music for advertisements, such as Kewpie, Odakyu Romance Car, Tokyo Electron, Tama Home, and more.
