LOVEBITES and CRYSTAL LAKE will be making their first appearances at Download Festival 2019 at Donington Park in the United Kingdom this Summer.
LOVEBITES, who recently won Best New Band in the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards, toured Europe a few months ago and released sophomore album Clockwork Immortality last week, will be performing on the Dogtooth Stage on Saturday 15 June 2019, the same day as headliners Slipknot, Halestorm and Trivium.
CRYSTAL LAKE, who just announced a few European shows during the coming Summer and are currently in America for their massive world tour, will also be appearing on the Dogtooth Stage but on Sunday 16 June 2019, the same day that Tool, Slayer and Dream Theater perform.
LOVEBITES’ bass player Miho comments, “It’s a great privilege to be back at our second home, the UK, and to appear in one of its biggest rock fests, Download Festival! I can’t wait to play in Donington Park where so many legendary bands from the Monsters of Rock era to now have performed!”
Download Festival started in 2003 and is now being said UK’s biggest rock and metal festival. The festival has won different prices over the years. Download Festival is annually held at Donington Park in Leicestershire, since the beginning of the festival, and have hosted big names as Saxon, Black Sabbath, Slipknot, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Motörhead, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Kiss, Judas Priest, Status Quo, Mötley Crüe, Journey, ZZ Top, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, and Guns N’ Roses. Download Festival 2019 will take place from 14 till 16 June.
