Electronic rock/metal band Esprit D’Air are calling all their fans to join the crowdfunding for the new upcoming single Amethyst. The release of the single is planned for 22 February and that is where the fans are asked for help.

The band follows a strong DIY ethos and produces everything themselves to be as self-sufficient as possible. They want to continue doing this in 2019, being a label-less and DIY band. The band got a lot of support since they reformed in 2016 and have been busy ever since. They had several sold-out shows in the United Kingdom, their base.

In addition to the single release, digitally, the band wants to release a new music video and have a physical release. The crowdfunding started on 9 January and the first fans have pledged their support through the website of Esprit D’Air. You can support the band starting from £5 (around € 5,50) to £100 (around € 110,00) and with pledging you will get something back. For example, you can receive the digital single, if you pledge more, you can get the physical version, special designed t-shirt, and you can get even your name in credits. This single will only be produced if at least £1,500.00 (around € 1660,00) is contributed by 1 February 2019 at 23:59 (London time).

Esprit D’Air toured through Europe in 2018 to promote their latest album Constellations. They performed in the United Kingdom, Spain, France and The Netherlands (at AVO J-Music Festival). At the end of August 2018, the band released a cover single, titled Serafine, that was originally made by Dead End in 1989. Esprit D’Air won the 2018 best metal/hardcore album at The Independent Music Awards in New York, judged by an esteemed industry panel including Amy Lee (Evanescence), Slayer, and Sepultura.
