Metal band GYZE had plans to go to Europe as they announced to perform at a few European festivals in August. In the meantime, the band added a few more dates and announced a European tour. The band will bring their newest single The Rising Dragon (龍吟) with them, as this tour is the promotional tour for this release.
The single will be released on 27 June and the European tour will start a few weeks later on 11 August. The band will perform in Spain, United Kingdom, Belgium and Germany.
GYZE calls themselves a Northern Nostalgic Metal band originated from Hokkaido and is formed by three members: vocalist and guitarist Ryoji, bassist and vocalist Aruta and drummer Shuji. The start of GYZE was in May 2009, although the current band name is being used since 2013.
GYZE released three albums, Fascinating Violence in 2013, Black Bride in 2015 and Northern Hell Song in 2017. In February of this year, GYZE performed at the biggest metal cruise, 70000 Tons of Metal, which made the band the first Japanese band to perform at this festival.
The Rising Dragon (龍吟) is dedicated to the 150th Anniversary of GYZE motherland Hokkaido and is their first official single.
