Singer KOKIA comes to Paris to celebrate her 20th anniversary of career. After almost 10 years of absence in Europe, the artist will come back on stage. She will also introduce her new album Tokyo Mermaid to the fans who decide to come to her live show.

KOKIA chose the venue, La Cigale in Paris, a theatre she knows well. The date of her performance is set on Sunday 11 November. The presale will start on 31 May from 10.00 French time, the tickets can be bought through the website of Weezevent.

KOKIA grew up with music and art because of the influence of her grandparents. She was especially fascinated by the music world and started composing music with piano. When she was three years old, she started to play the violin and studied vocals at Toho Gakuen High School and University. While studying classical music, she made a debut as a professional singer, she wanted to be able to express wonder and the possibility of music through her own composition and words. Her ever-changing voice was greatly appreciated as a “limitless voice” and her career has since expanded to the entire world, especially in Europe. Her songs that are heartbreaking carry the simple message: what is love and peace?
