The European leg of the tour will start with a visit to Japan Expo in France on the 9th of July. She will also be attending Hyper Japan in the United Kingdom and playing two headlining concerts in Germany and Czechia.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The last time Upiko was in Europe was for a performance at <a href=\"https:\/\/avo-magazine.com\/en\/2024\/09\/5-musical-acts-you-shouldnt-miss-out-on-at-anime-festival-kassel-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anime Festival Kassel<\/a>, not too long after her international breakthrough with her song <em>CROW<\/em>. After that, she released her album <em>Compass<\/em> and toured her home country with a matching tour in 2025. This year she has been releasing single after single with <em>My Saviour<\/em>, Fate, <em>Angels on Earth<\/em> and, of course, last month\u2019s <em>Red Spider Lily<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The flower has a lot of meaning in <a href=\"https:\/\/myjapaneseworld.com\/blogs\/japanese-craftsman-journal\/the-red-spider-lily-higanbana-beauty-farewell-and-the-cycle-of-life-in-japanese-culture\">Japanese culture<\/a> as it\u2019s commonly associated with permanent farewells and the fleeting nature of life. As such, her song strikes quite some emotional snares with strong tones and vibrato in her voice while she sings about loneliness and love.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u5f7c\u5cb8\u82b1\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xyCG_AM1x7E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>All of these singles will be included in her upcoming album <em>\u6fc0\u52d5 \u2014Upheaval\u2014<\/em>, which, with its release on the first of July, nicely matches her European tour dates. The album will contain not just the new song and the aforementioned singles but also re-imaginings of fan-favourites like an orchestral version of <em>CROW<\/em> and an acoustic version of <em>Weak Warriors with Broken Wings<\/em> and official releases for songs she has previously only uploaded on youtube like: <em>Lotus (\u84ee)<\/em>, <em>Dear Me, Keep Going (\u9811\u5f35\u308c\u3001\u79c1)<\/em>, <em>The Words Stuck in My Throat Burn (\u5589\u3092\u713c\u304f)<\/em> and <em>Tokyo (\u6771\u4eac)<\/em>.
