It is impossible to keep track of all this and write a review about it for each video. But to avoid missing out on (obscure) gems, the decision has been made to create a weekly list of new music videos from Japanese music acts that are definitely worth watching and need some extra focus, with an emphasis on the lesser-known names.<\/p>\n<p>We are now looking back on a selection of videos released in week 47 of 2025. We sincerely hope you enjoy the new discoveries!<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>salmon pinknows &#8211; \u6df1\u591c\u5275\u4f5c\u60f3\u50cf\u73fe\u8c61 (Shinya Sousaku Souzou Gensho)<\/h3>\n<p>Originally released as a single in 2022, a music video was released this week for the re-recorded version of this song, featuring salmon pinknows in a four-piece formation for the first time. In 2021, multi-instrumentalist, designer and illustrator MIZ-C started salmon pinknows as a solo project and produced more than 60 songs in three years. The young band is known for their catchy and cute sound, while sincerely expressing the emotions of fellow youngsters. It is probably this combination of playfulness and vulnerability that has led the band to describe themselves as &#8217;emo-cute&#8217;. Appropriately, the lyrics are steeped in references to death and rebirth. Earlier this year, the three-piece metal band from Okinawa released their third full-length album, entitled <em>HARAKIRI HUNTER<\/em>, three years after the release of their previous album.\u00a0\u2014 Recommended by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/avo-magazine.com\/en\/author\/seraphinne\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Francisca<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u300c\u3069\u308d\u3069\u308d\u300d\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Jl0M6WyhLzs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>OLIVES &#8211; \u30de\u30b7\u3099\u30c3\u30af\u30ca\u30f3\u30cf\u3099\u30fc (Magic Number)<\/h3>\n<p>Active since 2020, Kyoto-based alternative rock band OLIVES have released several singles and a mini-album. A few weeks ago, the band announced that they had finished recording a 12-track album. No announcement has been made yet about when the album will be released. In 2024, they released their debut album Leaves, which seemed to be a departure from the classic alternative rock sound. Now, a year and a half later and five years after the release of their first EP, Sisters In The Velvet have completed their second EP, entitled <em>Mother&#8217;s Octave<\/em>. The band was formed in 2024 by Eri-nyo (CUICUI, IIOT), who is in charge of lyrics and composition, but is also the vocalist and keyboardist in this band. The music on this album is described as a collection of short stories in sound with rock as its foundation. The alternative rock band released several digital singles in just over a year and seems to have enough inspiration to further explore their dark perspectives in life.
