With a large music industry such as Japan, the second largest in the world, music fans will inevitably be inundated with a profusion of good (and also less good) music from this country. It is impossible to keep track of all this and write a review about it for each video. But to avoid missing out on (obscure) gems, the decision has been made to create a weekly list of new music videos from Japanese music acts that are definitely worth watching and need some extra focus, with an emphasis on the lesser-known names.<\/p>\n

Erina Uozumi is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter with a powerful, husky voice who often performs seated with an acoustic guitar. She has several releases to her name, including a full-length album in 2021, titled ISO1600\u306e\u82b1\u5ac1 (ISO1600 no Hanayome<\/em>), and an EP in 2022, titled \u52c7\u6562\u306a\u30bd\u30fc\u30c0 (Yuukan na Soda<\/em>). On top of that, she has also done several interesting performances, such as with Keiji Haino and \u30d7\u30ce\u30f3\u30da\u30f3\u30e2\u30c7\u30eb (Phnonpenh MODEL).
