Two musicians from that band, A and Dead K decided that they were ready to start something new leading to the creation of Green Milk from the Planet Orange in 2001. There have been several changes in the band line-up in regards to bass players, even Margarette Hiroi (now active in 88Kasyo Junrei) was a bass player for a short while. After a hiatus from 2008 to 2016, Green Milk from the Planet Orange returned with the current line-up of A on drums, Dead K on guitar and Damo on bass. The music they create with this band gets described as an mixture of the music genres progressive rock, psychedelic rock and punk. In 2019, they released their third album, titled appropriately titled Third.

In 2023, the band announced that they have remastered their second album CITY CALLS REVOLUTION released in 2005 and is now available as a digital release on Bandcamp, after the album had been out of print for years. In March, the band released a split EP with American psychedelic punk band FUCKWOLF, titled LET’S SPLIT (裂けても), to celebrate the fact that the San Francisco-based band would be touring Japan in March and April which was organised by the band members of Green Milk From The Planet Orange. This release appeared on vinyl this year and remarkably contains only one track from Green Milk From The Planet Orange, while FUCKWOLF is represented with six tracks. However, the track from Green Milk From The Planet Orange is a live recording of over 19 minutes.

Green Milk From The Planet Orange “Tragedy Overground” European Tour Dates

Wednesday 14 May, 2025: SONIC BALLROOM – Cologne, Germany
Thursday 15 May, 2025: Obsidian Dust Festival – Brussels, Belgium
Friday 16 May, 2025: Sonic Whip Festival – Nijmegen, Netherlands
Saturday 17 May, 2025: Desertfest London – London, United Kingdom
Sunday 18 May, 2025: The Tin Music and Arts – Coventry, United Kingdom
Monday 19 May, 2025: The Lanes – Bristol, United Kingdom
Tuesday 20 May, 2025: Cavern Club – Exeter, United Kingdom
Thursday 22 May, 2025: Die Trompete – Bochum, Germany
Friday 23 May, 2025: Sniester Festival – The Hague, Netherlands
Sunday 25 May, 2025: Desertfest Berlin – Berlin, Germany
Monday 26 May, 2025: Kulturbahnhof Lollar – Lollar, Germany
Wednesday 28 May, 2025: Black Flag – Seignosse, France
Thursday 29 May, 2025: Rock Beer The New – Santander, Spain
Friday 30 May, 2025: Kuivi – Oviedo, Spain
Saturday 31 May, 2025: Le Bus Stop – Saint-Pierre-d’Oléron, France
Sunday 1 June, 2025: Say Cheese Festival – Tours, France
Monday 2 June, 2025: Le Pièces Muzik’Club – Rouen, France
Wednesday 4 June, 2025: Blurred Edges Festival – Hamburg, Germany
Thursday 5 June, 2025: Tankstation – Enschede, Netherlands
Friday 6 June, 2025: Alice – Copenhagen, Denmark
Saturday 7 June, 2025: Esbjerg Fuzztival – Esbjerg, Denmark
Sunday 8 June, 2025: GockelScream Festival – Dresden, Germany
Tuesday 10 June, 2025: MKNŽ – Ilirska Bistrica, Slovenia
Wednesday 11 June, 2025: Clan Destino – Faenza, Italy
Thursday 12 June, 2025: Freakout Club – Bologna, Italy
Friday 13 June, 2025: Fans Out Festival – Vaglio Serra, Italy
Saturday 14 June, 2025: Radio Rasa – Studios – Schaffhausen, Switzerland

Keep an eye on Green Milk From The Planet Orange’s social media for any updates around additional shows.

Following Green Milk From The Planet Orange’s confirmation for the Dutch festival Sonic Whip, the experimental progressive rock band have announced their European tour plans.
