It is impossible to keep track of this and write a review about it per video. But to avoid missing out on gems, it is time for a weekly list of new music videos from Japanese music acts that are definitely worth watching and need some extra focus, with an emphasis on the lesser-known names.

We are now looking back on a selection of videos released in week 45 of 2024. We sincerely hope you enjoy the new discoveries!

ODDFILMS – FAT BOY

Not a brand new track from the three-piece alternative rock band ODDFILMS, but a remastered version that shows the growth of the young band and especially the vocalist. The song was originally released in November 2022 and with the new version, the first music video has also been re-released with the new audio. After a turbulent period without performances, during which it seems the band members have had some difficult moments, the rock band seems to be busy again with gigs and a new release, something fans can look forward to. — Recommended by Francisca

kein – Spiral

Later this month, rock band kein will release their major debut EP through King Records, titled PARADOXON DOLORIS.
