Just before the tour kicks off, FUNGUS will release their 10th album, <em>RISKY ASIAN HOME<\/em>, marking their first original full-length album in six years. Last year, they released a self-cover album with re-recordings of fan-favourite tracks with the Tokyo-based band&#8217;s new line-up. According to the homepage of FUNGUS, they have titled their upcoming tour in Europe as <em>RISKY ASIAN HOME TOUR<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The Japanese punk rock band was formed in 1997 by former members of punk band TRACY, vocalist Kamasaka and bass player Shibagaki. After releasing their first album in 2000, they have kept busy with a total of ten albums, including two best-of albums, a split album, and a self-cover album, but also three mini-albums, one EP, six maxi-singles, several appearances on compilations and seven DVDs\u2014quite the discography to explore. Their musical range spans from intense, energetic punk tracks to passionate, gentle, and heartfelt numbers.
