Earlier in the year, he performed in China with shows in Shanghai and Beijing, as well as in his his homeland Japan, in Tokyo and Kyoto.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The world tour is named after his most recent album, <em>Dream In Dream<\/em>, his first album in six years, released in 2023. In addition to all this, this tour also celebrates the musician&#8217;s 30th anniversary of starting his solo career. Cornelius is considered a pioneer of the Shibuya-kei music style, partly because he was a founding member of the influential Shibuya-kei duo Flipper&#8217;s Guitar. Shibuya-kei is best described as a music genre that mixes pop, jazz and electronic music, among others. When the duo broke up in the early 1990s, the multi-instrumentalist decided to launch his solo career.
