Osaka-based electronic producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Koshiro Hino will be in Europe this spring with his solo act YPY<\/a> and his music projects Goat and KAKUHAN for various gigs in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Germany, Sweden and the UK. The European tour is scheduled to take place in April and May.<\/p>\n

Last autumn, minimalist avant-garde group Goat toured Europe with an extensive concert series, but this spring’s tour will be a bit more compact with performances at various festivals, including BRDCST in Brussels and Rewire in The Hague. At Festival Variations, Goat will share the stage with American drone metal band Sunn O))). 2023 was Goat’s 10th anniversary year, which was celebrated at the end of the summer by two special live shows, Joy In Fear<\/em>, which is also the title of their first release in eight years. Originally consisting of four people: guitar, saxophone, bass and drums, the group is now a five-piece that changes instruments depending on the song. The musicians ignore the musical scales of their instruments as much as possible and create songs out of the noise and muffled sounds that emerge from them. The result is complex, driven, powerful compositions that are both urban and tribal.<\/p>\n
