Her latest songs show a certain degree of anger about the world and she wants to make the kind of music that could have helped her through the rougher parts of her life. As can be read in her interview with Tokion: “I make music I wish was available to me during the roughest part of my life”. This is also visible in her post about becoming an honoree for Forbes’ ”30 under 30 Japan”, where she mentioned feeling responsible for reaching such a position.

Fans that were not capable of seeing her in the United Kingdom earlier this year now have the option out of various different West-European countries spread over 10 shows, starting on the 7th of October in Ireland and ending on the 23rd of October in Germany, where she visits the Netherlands at the Rotterdam’s Left of the Dial Festival on the 19th and 20th of October.

At the end of this month, on the 29th of September, her new EP INSAINT will be released, and judging from the cover art, it seems to be inspired by various elements from Christianity. The single I Refuse is already available and thanks to the dissonant tones immediately places a sad and angry emotion with the listener and combined with the lyrics and emotion in her voice when she screams sets a clear tone that we may see on the rest of the album. On top of that, all song on this release was recorded with a band.

Haru Nemuri European Tour 2023 Dates

Saturday 7 October 2023: The Workman’s Club – Dublin, Ireland
Monday 9 October 2023: The Peer Hat – Manchester, United Kingdom
Tuesday 10 October 2023: Heartbreakers – Southampton, United Kingdom
Wednesday 11 October 2023: Studio 9294 – London, United Kingdom
Friday 13 October 2023: AMFest Encobert – Barcelona, Spain
Monday 16 October 2023: Les Etoiles – Paris, France
Tuesday 17 October 2023: Botanique (Rotonde) – Brussels, Belgium
Thursday 19 October 2023: Left of the Dial Festival – Rotterdam, the Netherlands
Friday 20 October 2023: Left of the Dial Festival – Rotterdam, the Netherlands
Monday 23 October 2023: Badehaus – Berlin, Germany

Haru Nemuri is definitely no stranger to AVO Magazine and neither is she for Europe.
