This live show took place in early May, and in these videos, you can see how they make a party of it and how the audience reacts to it.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Vaiwatt&#8217;s band sound is focused on combining Japanese pop with Western rock, which they describe as combining the power of the positive smile of pop-punk music with the strength of mainly 90s rock from a future perspective that defeats modern anxiety with a cynical sense of humour.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Vaiwatt - Berlin Party at Ruby Room Shibuya - LIVE part.1\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FkfW-iGjOXw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>In the first video, the songs <em>Reverse Apple<\/em> and<em> WALK<\/em> are performed, while in the second video there are three, namely<em> Czech Ringo<\/em>, <em>Nande son na VACANT?<\/em>, and <em>Bomb POGO!<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Vaiwatt - Berlin Party at Ruby Room Shibuya - LIVE part.2\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2FovnWEKiFA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Recently, the duo, consisting of vocalist and guitarist Ken and bassist and vocalist Tama, posted a new music video online for the brand-new song \u306a\u3093\u3067\u305d\u3093\u306aVACANT? (<em>Nande son na VACANT?<\/em>), which was recorded at Club Dorothy. This song can soon be heard on Vaiwatt&#8217;s very first cassette release, <em>LOVE MISSILE<\/em>, it is also the first release in four years for the band.<\/p>\n<p>The cassette tape is to mark Vaiwatt&#8217;s upcoming tour of the UK and will be released via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unusmundusum.com\/vaiwatt%e3%82%ab%e3%82%bb%e3%83%83%e3%83%86%e3%83%86%e3%83%bc%e3%83%97%e6%96%b0%e7%99%ba%e5%a3%b2-vaiwatt-cassette-release\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Unus Mundus<\/a>. <em>LOVE MISSILE<\/em> features eight tracks chosen by the duo, including <em>Reverse Apple<\/em>, where they go back to the 90s, <em>Bomb POGO!<\/em>, a cover of Plastic Bertrand&#8217;s club hit <em>Ca Plane Pour Moi<\/em> with Vaiwatt&#8217;s own twist in the chorus, and <em>BABEL BABEL<\/em> a cyber grunge song where Ken manages to scream the word boring in seven languages.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Vaiwatt - \u306a\u3093\u3067\u305d\u3093\u306aVACANT?
