It’s no news that post-metal band Asunojokei would be coming to Europe for a number of shows as a support act for experimental band Boris, but with that announcement, the four-piece band hinted that they planned to do a number of extra shows to broaden their introduction to European audiences. Asunojokei managed to add five shows to the 10 already scheduled as Boris’ support band.

The band will perform for the first time in the Netherlands, the show is scheduled at Patronaat<\/a> where the Japanese band will share the stage with stonerdoom band The Obsessed. Furthermore, Asunojokei managed to add a number of shows in the United Kingdom. The band did reveal that they intended to perform in other countries such as France and Germany, but ultimately failed to add this to the schedule. Still, it looks like the band has plans to return to Europe for another tour, given the sentence they shared in their message: “We will make every effort to make this happen on the next tour.”<\/p>\n

Tokyo-based Asunojokei, which translates to \u201cScenery of Tomorrow,\u201d are a post-black metal band that was founded in 2014. The band aspires to present a distinct style of black metal with lyrics taken from well-known literature and light novels, music influenced by the melodic sense of Japanese pop music, and a mix of hardcore, math rock, and shoegaze. The four-piece latest release was album number two, Island<\/em>, released in the summer of 2022.<\/p>\n
