It is impossible to keep track of this and write a review about it per video. But to avoid missing out on gems, it is time for a weekly list of new music videos from lesser-known Japanese musical acts that are definitely worth watching.<\/p>\n<p>We are now looking back on a couple of videos that were released in week 48 of the year 2022. Enjoy the new discoveries!<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>\u9375\u3092\u8fd4\u305b (Kagi wo Kaese) &#8211; \u6e80\u8db3\u304b\u3044 (Manzokukai)<\/h3>\n<p>Based in Hiroshima, the four-piece alternative pop band Kagi wo Kaese (meaning: return the key) started full-fledged activities in 2020. Due to the pandemic, they have been focused on being active on YouTube and it has paid off. They have recently released their second EP, \u4ed6\u4eba\u4e8b (<em>Taningoto<\/em>), influenced by various musical genres from pop to rock, jazz funk and dance.\u00a0\u2014 Recommended by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/avo-magazine.com\/en\/author\/seraphinne\/\">Francisca<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u9375\u3092\u8fd4\u305b - \u6e80\u8db3\u304b\u3044\u3010MV\u3011\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/szhkgvyp03k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>\u6c38\u539f\u771f\u590f (Manatsu Nagahara) &#8211; \u7247\u76ee\u306e\u30ed\u30c3\u30af\u30b9\u30bf\u30fc (One Eyed Rock Star)<\/h3>\n<p>After playing in bands since she was in high school, Manatsu Nagahara decided in summer 2015 to pursue the path as a solo artist in addition to her activities as a singer in SEBASTIAN X and in the piano unit OTOSHIBA. Last year, she established her own music label, G.O.D. Records. She is known for her live performances, powerful singing voice, and innocent character. By fusing delicate lyrics with dark soundscapes, Yahyel paint potent portraits of life that are laced with both dystopian imagery and piercing honesty. As a result, their music gets categorised as &#8220;Dystopian Pop&#8221;, in addition, the four band members have also called themselves a &#8220;cyberpunk band&#8221; in the past, living like the gang from the anime <em>Akira<\/em>.\u00a0\u2014 Recommended by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/avo-magazine.com\/en\/author\/seraphinne\/\">Francisca<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"yahyel - Highway (MV)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/W7O00jbjYU4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>\u8d64\u3044\u304f\u3089\u3052 (Akai Kurage) &#8211; \u30c9\u30ea\u30c3\u30d7 (Drip)<\/h3>\n<p>The best way to define Akai Kurage would be as a psychedelic new wave pop art rock band. A mouthful, but sometimes it is needed to give an idea of what you can expect. The band got formed in the spring of 2014 and in November of this year, the three-piece released their third album, \u30e9\u30c3\u30ad\u30fc\u30a2\u30a4\u30c6\u30e0 (<em>Lucky Item<\/em>). The solid chemistry between the guitar, bass, and drums helps them to sound powerful as a trio, but it&#8217;s also important to not ignore the ravenous vocals. \u2014 Recommended by <a href=\"https:\/\/avo-magazine.com\/en\/author\/seraphinne\/\">Francisca<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u3010MV\u3011\u30c9\u30ea\u30c3\u30d7\/\u8d64\u3044\u304f\u3089\u3052\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VXxFAmMom0A?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>UZMK &#8211; NEW WORLD<\/h3>\n<p>Osaka-based mixture band UZMK recently joined indie label TWILIGHT RECORDS and followed this up with a digital EP, <em>NEW WORLD<\/em>. What you can expect from this five-piece band is that they combine music genres such as rock, punk and hip-hop with other elements such as digital and street culture. Previously the band was active as UZUMAKI, but in 2014, they switched things up and worked in their way under their current name.\u00a0\u2014 Recommended by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/avo-magazine.com\/en\/author\/seraphinne\/\">Francisca<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"UZMK - NEW WORLD - MV\u3010OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO\u3011\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZId1mZG0sGw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>Howling way &#8211; \u4eba\u306e\u5b50\u306e\u305f\u3081 (Hito no Ko no Tame)<\/h3>\n<p>Time to howl on the music by the band Howling way, through a megaphone, while walking through the city. Coming 8th of January in 2023, they will release their very first mini-album <em>Feet<\/em>, after being formed just one year ago.
