It is impossible to keep track of this and write a review about it per video. But to avoid missing out on gems, it is time for a weekly list of new music videos from lesser-known Japanese musical acts that are definitely worth watching.<\/p>\n<p>We are now looking back on a couple of videos that were released in week 35 of the year 2022. Enjoy the new discoveries!<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Bialystocks &#8211; \u706f\u53f0 (Todai)<\/h3>\n<p>Led by up-and-coming film director Sora Hokimoto as the vocalist, and Go Kikuchi as the pianist, Bialystocks got formed in 2019 for a live performance to support the film <em>Haruneko<\/em>, which is directed by Hokimoto. The band&#8217;s ability to effortlessly transition between genres thanks to the folky and soulful vocals and instruments with a jazz backbone has been dubbed both ubiquitous and radical.\u00a0\u2014 Recommended by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/avo-magazine.nl\/en\/author\/seraphinne\/\">Francisca<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Bialystocks - \u706f\u53f0\u3010Music Video\u3011\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6lktU0Ij3-E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>CHOCHINES &#8211; EXTRA IMAGINATION<\/h3>\n<p>CHOCHINES are a brand-new two-piece rock band as they have officially started activities just recently. Almost directly with the start of the band, they released their first digital album, titled <em>2-6<\/em>, at the end of August. Both members, guitarist and vocalist Hidekazu Bessho and drummer Kyousuke Ono, were previously active in the alternative rock band \u5b8c\u5168\u306b\u30ce\u30f3\u30d5\u30a3\u30af\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3 (<em>Kanzen ni non fiction<\/em>) which disbanded in 2019.\u00a0\u2014 Recommended by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/avo-magazine.nl\/en\/author\/seraphinne\/\">Francisca<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"EXTRA IMAGINATION \/ CHOCHINES\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jtgJCPWIB6c?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>SleepInside &#8211; \u5947\u602a\u306a\u76ee (Kikai Na Me)<\/h3>\n<p>The Tokyo-based band SleepInside can be best described as an alternative guitar rock band with a shoegaze\/dream pop vibe led by Kohki Imai. He creates songs from his own bedroom. On his Twitter account he shared that he had a green image in his head while writing the song, which is the reason why the music video has this green filter on it. The song is comprised of elements that are the base of the indie band; synth-pop, dance rock and post-punk.\u00a0\u2014 Recommended by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/avo-magazine.nl\/en\/author\/seraphinne\/\">Francisca<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Johnnivan - No One is Going to Save You (Official Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5AO08mTgND8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>9DayzGlitchClubTokyo &#8211; Drug Cocktail<\/h3>\n<p>9DayzGlitchClubTokyo can probably be best described as an alternative electronic idol group, with songs that combine EDM, dubstep, hip-hop, rock and more music genres with appealing lyrics, making simply said catchy tunes. Their newest mini-album, titled <em>Drug Cocktail Collection<\/em>, with record levels of aggression as the theme, gives you an insight into what way of catchiness they are working on.\u00a0\u2014 Recommended by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/avo-magazine.nl\/en\/author\/seraphinne\/\">Francisca<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"9DayzGlitchClubTokyo &quot;Drug Cocktail&quot; (Official Music Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tpaGRp_ROQM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>\u8e0a\u308c\u306a\u3044\u50d5\u3089 (Odorenai Bokura) &#8211; \u30b7\u30f3\u30c7\u30ec\u30e9 (Cinderella)<\/h3>\n<p>The alternative indie pop band Odorenai Bokura started activities in 2021. The Nagoya-based quartet released <em>prologue<\/em>, their debut mini-album, earlier this year.
