After various performances on stage and releasing several music videos, it was finally time for Japone Artists to officially release their original music.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Terra<\/em>\u00a0will consist of three tracks, or three movements, as described by the members of Japone Artists, as this release is written in the style of a sonata where you will be taken on a journey across the Earth.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Japone Artists FIRST Release &quot;The Terra&quot; | All Songs Trailer\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/k_Wvo2MGMBg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>As with all pieces of music that are produced, <em>The Terra<\/em> has a whole process behind it, starting around the year 2014 with Ayumi Matsuda (recorder) writing one of the songs on this release. When writing it the people in the disaster area in Tohoku after the earthquake and tsunami in 2011 were in her mind. In the same year of the creation of Japone Artists, in 2016, the instrumental music piece received a voice for the first time with the addition of lyrics by Utako Arakawa (singer, soprano), the incorporation of instruments such as those of Yoshimi Kawai (piano) and Yusuke Morita (bass guitar, track production), both joined Japone Artists in recent years, would give the music a new dimension and also a new theme.<\/p>\n<p>The music on <em>The Terra<\/em> has always been an important element for the art collective as some of the songs have been performed at Japone Artists&#8217; shows before. But after putting the finishing touches on them, one song of <em>The Terra<\/em>, entitled <em>Furusato (The Earth)<\/em>, received a music video that was officially debuted at the online edition of the UK convention HYPER JAPAN. The theatrical shows that Japone Artists present contain many elements of beauty, drama, humour, projection art and original or remixed stories. Since starting activities in 2016, the artist collective has been performing at several events with a focus on Japanese culture based in The Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the circumstances of the pandemic, Japone Artists decided to reach their fans via digital platforms. They have been working on new music, theatrical storylines, have participated in online editions of conventions within and outside the Netherlands, and even started a video podcast, entitled <em>Japone Artists Talk<\/em>. In May 2021, bass player and composer Yusuke Morita joined as the newest member of Japone Artists. He has been working also for anime productions such as <em>Hirune-Hime (Napping Princess)<\/em> and <em>Carol &amp; Tuesday<\/em>. Together with him, Japone Artists have been fervently creating original music and videos, of which two music videos got presented at the UK event HYPER JAPAN. After releasing <em>The Terra<\/em>, the artist collective is planning to release more music, but also to perform at several events in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2020 Francisca Hagen, AVO Magazine&#8217;s Editor-in-Chief is the manager of Japone Artists.
