It is impossible to keep track of this and write a review about it per video. But to avoid missing out on gems, it is time for a weekly list of new music videos from lesser-known Japanese musical acts that are definitely worth watching. We are now looking back on a couple of videos that were released in week 48 of the year 2020. Enjoy the new discoveries!<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Backdrop Cinderella &#8211; 2020\u5e74\u306f\u30ed\u30c3\u30af\u3092\u8074\u304b\u306a\u3044 (I will not listen to rock music in 2020)<\/h3>\n<p>Formed way back in 2006, the band came together in Ikebukuro. Fast forward a few years to 2011, and they created their own independent label so they could have full creative control over their music and content. This new track is a solid ska-punk track, packed full of their signature chaotic energy but feels more refined than their previous tracks as it focuses on that metronome beat. The musician has a bass voice that she combines with sweet tunes from her guitar. They have been putting out quite some videos, including live videos, to give you a good time. Their music is called \u2018neo-new music\u2019 that is rooted in Japanese 70-80s City Pop and new music, giving it a feeling of scenery and nostalgia. At the beginning of November, they joined Tokyo International Music Market (TIMM) to present themselves in front of an international livestream audience. They produce danceable and groovy rock music with African-American music as a big influence. Their first mini-album, titled <em>Blowsatoshi<\/em>, of which 100 copies were released in the summer of 2018 got sold out in a few days, in 2019, they released their second mini-album, <em>Sakokudance<\/em>. After releasing an EP and a digital single, the band released their second EP, titled <em>A YOUTH NEVER CHANGE<\/em>, in April of this year.
