In conjunction with Pride Amsterdam 2019, Foam presents the work of this photographer from the museum&#8217;s collection.<!--more--> The selection of photos of the series <em>Bible and Dildo<\/em> was shown before during an exhibition in 2015. <em>Bible and Dildo<\/em> tell the story of Okabe&#8217;s lovers and their struggles with gender dysphoria, identity disorders and social isolation.<\/p>\n<p>Momo Okabe received a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Photography from Nihon University of Art in 2004. In 1999 her work was selected by Nobuyoshi Araki for the prestigious New Cosmos of Photography Award and in 2015 she won the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foam.org\/talent\/foam-paul-huf-award\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Foam Paul Huf Award<\/a>. In that same year, the solo exhibition Bible and Dildo became a fact. Her photobooks\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sessionpress.com\/books\/dildo-by-momo-okabe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Dildo<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sessionpress.com\/books\/bible\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Bible<\/em><\/a>\u00a0are published by Session Press. Raised in France, she lives and works in Tokyo.<\/p>\n<p>Want to know more?
