To this very day, the Visual Kei band is still active with a lot of shows in Japan. Quite special, seeing that the Visual Kei band has been making music like a well-oiled machine since 2006, with 12 studio albums and 26 singles to their name.

Shibuya La.mama was the place to be for a sold-out show of D=OUT on Sunday, February the 17th. A small venue which gives off a homey vibe. Not that strange when you consider the venue has a capacity of 250 standing places.

The show of D=OUT started after the countdown on a video. The members entered the stage one by one and started with a spectacular opening immediately, namely the newest single 金魚蜂 (Kingyo hachi). This ensured that the entire audience sprung to action immediately by dancing and waving their hands. The great vibe in La.mama was enforced by the lighting effects.

A lot of songs D=OUT played were relatively new, among which 卍 (Manji), but the Visual Kei band didn’t mind to look at the past with songs released when they were still a part of PS Company, among which 感電18号 (Kanden 18 Gou). 卍 (Manji) was more than enough reason for the fans to lift up all of their fans into the air and wave! Old favourites like 獄 (Goku) and Japanese Dogeza weren’t forgotten either.

D=OUT closed off their set with ONE, to which the entire audience sang along. The band showed during this performance that they’re still really good live. Shibuya La.mama ensured for a cosy concert, with a little room for headbanging and rocking out. If you’re ever in Japan and have the opportunity to see the band live, then you absolutely should see D=OUT live!

Setlist:

1. 金魚蜂 (Kingyo hachi)
2. 感電18号 (Kanden 18 Gou)
3. 歌舞伎デスコ (Kabuki Disco)
4. 獄 (Goku)
5. 棘 (Toge)
6. 失神 (Shisshin)
7.
