Neo Kawaii quartet CHAI announced a worldwide tour, starting in the United States and ending up in Japan. In between\u00a0these two tours,\u00a0CHAI will embark on a European tour with shows in the United Kingdom, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, France and Spain. It will be the first time that CHAI will do a European tour.<\/p>\n
CHAI formed in 2012 in the Nagoya region, identical twins Mana (vocals and keys) and Kana (Guitar) asked fellow high school classmate Yuna (drummer), and later Yuki (bassist), a college acquaintance, to join what we now know as CHAI. The band does have experience of performing outside Japan, in 2017 they performed at SXSW followed by a series of dates in the United States. In that same year, CHAI released their first album, titled PINK<\/em>.\u00a0CHAI joined British multinational indie pop band Superorganism<\/a> during their World Tour in 2018, where CHAI performed in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Earlier this year, CHAI announced the follow-up to their debut album, on 15 March the Neo Kawaii quartet will release PUNK<\/em>.<\/p>\n
