From 9 May till 15 May, for six shows, the German modern symphonic metal band Aeternitas will also act as support act. From the second part of the European tour, from 15 May till 19 May, the German Visual band VII-ARC will be the support act, with performances in Germany, Switzerland, France, and Spain. The Japanese Visual Kei band fesFE[M] will also join the European tour of Jupiter with performances from 16 May till 19 May.

Season of Ghosts

The band Season of Ghosts is the brainchild of singer and songwriter Sophia Aslanides. For the people who follow the Japanese music scene, you might have come across her earlier, namely in the Japanese trance-metal band Blood Stain Child. After she decided to say goodbye to this band, she decided to make her own band which is now Season of Ghosts. After releasing the debut album The Human Paradox, the band worked hard to bring out a worthy successor, with the title A Leap Of Faith. The combination of heavy riffs, strong vocals and harsh electronic describes the genre of the band, electronic metal. The band will release the third single off their latest album, titled Listen.

Aeternitas

The modern symphonic metal band Aeternitas is formed in 1999 by Anja and Alex Hunzinger. They released their first concept album in 2000, requiem, which combined a variety of different styles (from classical to metal elements). This album was well received and made the two decide on to build a live band, so they could perform their songs live. The next steps led them to develop a theatrical gothic live show, which also paved the way for their next work, a Gothic Musical. In the Summer of 2018, the modern symphonic metal band released their fifth album, titled Tales Of The Grotesque. The songs on this album are based on short stories and poems by Edgar Allan Poe.

VII ARC

The German band VII ARC is active since 2014 and is a band with a do it yourself mentality. The music this band makes fits in the genres Visual Rock and Metal. In Germany, the Visual rockers have been busy making steps in the right direction. The band could show more of themselves during the European tour of MORRIGAN in 2017. Their latest album, ATONIA, comes in two parts as mini-albums in black and white, a transformation from darkness to clarity. The first part in the colour black, ATONIA – THE VOID OF TARTAROS, was released in September 2018. The white mini-album will be released later in 2019.

fesFE[M]

The Japanese Visual Kei band fesFE[M] will perform in Europe for the first time. The band released their first single, FlowEr and nightMare, in October 2018. There is a second band with the same name, started at the same time in 2016, but different writing and genre, a Japan Festival Rock band, called FE[S]fem. Both bands share a few of the same band members, for example, the singer Lion.

Lightning

All the way from Reunion, an island of France, comes the Visual Kei artist Lightning. He started as part of a heavy metal band with the nickname Shadow, when he decided to leave Reunion for France, he chose Lightning as a new start for a new music project. Since then, Lightning got connected with the Japanese indie label Kirakira Record, released 2 albums and a couple of singles, and performed all over the world with his ESP guitar as his partner. AVO Magazine had an interview with Lightning in 2018: “It’s very important for me to keep the essence of the Visual Kei spirit”.

While the promotion for the European tour started to go in full throttle, the bass player RUCY decided to withdraw from Jupiter.
