To celebrate the 15th anniversary, the online community AVO organizes a festival on Saturday 15 September 2018 where visitors can get in touch with music and culture from Japan. The festival is titled AVO J-Music Festival. The festival will take place in the open air, namely in the Zuiderparktheater in The Hague. Which Japanese musicians will enter the stage will be announced in the coming period.<\/p>\n

Online community<\/h3>\n

AVO started in 2003 as an online forum for lovers of Japanese culture and music. Meanwhile, AVO exists out of an online magazine (AVO Magazine) and a booking and events agency (AVO Events & Promotion) that offers Japanese artists a stage in The Netherlands.<\/p>\n

AVO J-Rock Festival<\/h3>\n

In 2013, AVO celebrated its tenth anniversary at Tivoli De Helling in Utrecht with the first edition of AVO J-Rock Festival, consisting of three special Japanese acts, in which visitors from inside and outside The Netherlands flocked. Because AVO introduces more musical styles to their audience, it has been decided to change the name of the second edition of the festival.<\/p>\n
