Otaku or not, these cute cookies with four different \u2018girlfriends\u2019 will definitely make you smile, if not laugh. The cookies have been available around Valentine\u2019s day for a few years now.<\/p>\n

The cardboard box that the cookies are packaged in is covered in images of the four characters that are on the cookies. The box contains 12 shortbread cookies with a print on them. The name \u2018Kanojo ga Cookie\u2019 literally means \u2018My girlfriend is a cookie\u2019. These cookies are sold in Akihabara in Japan, in select anime stores, to otakus.<\/p>\n

Although the shape of the cookies aren\u2019t the same every year, a few years ago they were round instead of rectangular, the images on the cookies have stayed the same. The chibi faces are cute, but they do look a little different in colour on the cookies than on the packaging.<\/p>\n

The cookies were thin and crumbly. They tasted like vanilla and weren\u2019t overly sweet, pretty subtle actually. Shortbread cookies are usually thicker and I wouldn\u2019t necessarily compare these to them, but they did have a bit of a sand cookie texture.<\/p>\n

The box the cookies are packaged in is decorated with the four \u2018girlfriends\u2019 and has a general cute design. You could keep it or reuse it for different snacks. If you do accidentally throw it out you could always buy a new box around Valentine\u2019s day next year!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
