Recently I purchased six more Japanese KitKat flavours that I\u2019ve been wanting to try for a little while. Here<\/a> are six previous ones I reviewed. There are more flavours available, but I bought: Otona no Amasa, Shinshu Apple, Wa Ichigo, Ice Cream, Strawberry Cheesecake and Raspberry.<\/p>\n

Nestl\u00e9 \u2013 KitKat Otona no Amasa<\/strong>

This KitKat smelled strongly of cocoa, which you notice as soon as you open the package. The name \u2018Otona no Amasa\u2019 means \u2018Sweetness for Adults\u2019, which refers to this KitKat being a lot less sweet than most other flavours. It had a bit of a bitter taste, like dark chocolate normally does. Personally I love this flavour, it\u2019s bitter but not too bitter.<\/p>\n

Another strong smelling KitKat, this one smelled like artificial apple, like Haribo sour apple rings. Initially I didn\u2019t dislike this KitKat flavour, but as I kept chewing I definitely didn\u2019t like the flavour. The milk chocolate combined with artificial apple flavour is definitely not my kind of snack, maybe it\u2019d be better if it were white chocolate instead of milk.<\/p>\n

Nestl\u00e9 \u2013 KitKat Wa Ichigo<\/strong>

One of the few KitKats that didn\u2019t have a strong scent to it, or a strong flavour, but I definitely liked this one. It\u2019s not an overly sweet KitKat, nor does it have the distinct sour flavour that the normal strawberry KitKat has, but I liked the subtlety of the strawberry flavour of this one.<\/p>\n

When you open this one the smell is pretty strong, it reminded me of pastry cream, whipped cream and vanilla. As the packaging and instructions imply: these KitKats can and should be baked before consuming. Baking them can be a bit tricky to do as you have to find out what works best with your oven. Make sure not to preheat your oven and to place them on a baking tray lined with aluminium foil. For me the best way turned out to be to bake them for 8 to 9 minutes, setting my oven at 200 degrees Celsius. After which I took out the tray, let them cool and then took them off the aluminium foil to try them.<\/p>\n

The flavour, once baked, was very nice, but it didn\u2019t quite remind me of ice cream. This KitKat mainly tasted like a crumbly and crunchy vanilla cookie. It is a pretty sweet KitKat, but I didn\u2019t think the flavour was too sweet.<\/p>\n

Nestl\u00e9 \u2013 KitKat Strawberry Cheesecake<\/strong>

Though this one smells like artificial strawberry it doesn\u2019t have a very strong strawberry flavour. This one tasted a little tangy, with a faint strawberry flavour. I didn\u2019t think it was very tasty but it didn\u2019t taste bad either. I personally prefer plain white chocolate over this flavour of KitKat.<\/p>\n

Nestl\u00e9 \u2013 KitKat Raspberry<\/strong>

This KitKat has a pretty strong perfume-y smell to it, but it also smells like artificial raspberry. There\u2019s a strong sour flavour to it, just like the strawberry KitKat I reviewed previously, and it tastes like artificial raspberry with white chocolate.<\/p>\n

All of these KitKat flavours were interesting in their own way, though some didn\u2019t taste exactly like I expected them to.
