Since arriving to New York, he has become a fixture on the working musician\u00a0scene, performing alongside artists like Junior Mance, Terumasa Hino, Pino Palladino and\u00a0most notably Jos\u00e9 James.\u00a0After releasing three albums on his own, Kuroda made a stunning debut on Blue Note in\u00a02014 with his album Rising Son. The album, which was produced by Jos\u00e9 James, became one\u00a0of the top-selling jazz albums that year and instantly confirmed Takuya&#8217;s status as Japan&#8217;s\u00a0most leading contemporary jazz musician. Later on he released the album Zigzagger on the label Concord.
